They had their hair and makeup done in our studio, then we put on kimonos and headed out for the shoot.

Nagayama residence
The Nagayama residence is a historic building just a short walk from our studio, and is a lovely place that perfectly suits the atmosphere of kimono.
Nagayama Residence is a great place to take photos of the changing seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and snowy scenery in winter.
Taking photos in a traditional Japanese garden is wonderful.
Lake Toya
The cherry blossom season had already ended in Sapporo, but at Lake Toya the flowers were in full bloom.
The surprise proposal amidst beautiful scenery was a great success.
