This temple is one of the few places in Hokkaido where you can enjoy both Japanese style and snowy scenery.

The traditional Japanese architectural style called “kayabuki” roofing is rare in Hokkaido where there is a lot of snow.

Lake Toya

The view of the lake from the high point is spectacular.
